Dell is announcing multiple monitors at CES 2020, including a new one from Alienware with a 240 Hz refresh rate called the Alienware AW2521HF. Dell is also releasing a massive 42" UltraSharp U4320Q monitor (Ultra HD).
The IPS panel should be particularly fast and have a response time of just 1 millisecond. Both FreeSync and G-Sync Compatible are supported. Dell mentions that the monitor covers 99 percent of the sRGB color space . There are two USB ports. The AW2521HF can be adjusted in height and tilted. There is also lighting in the form of AlienFX. The monitor is slated to release on March 11, 2020 at a price of around $500.
Dell also presents two monitors that are color calibrated at the factory. The UltraSharp U2720Q has a 27-inch 10-bit IPS panel with Ultra HD resolution. According to the manufacturer, the monitor covers 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. The stand ensures that the monitor is height adjustable, tiltable and rotatable and can be brought into the pivot position. In addition to DisplayPort and HDMI, there is also a USB C port that, like the U4320Q, can supply a notebook with 90 watts. The Dell UltraSharp U2720Q is expected to be released on January 30 at a price of around $ 710. The Dell UltraSharp U2520D is a bit more compact at 25 inches, has a lower resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, but is also factory calibrated. In terms of color depth, it also loses out with 8 bits. For this purpose, it has a DisplayPort connection with which several monitors can be daisy-chained in series. The price is just under $480, the market launch would be slated for January 30th.
