At least that claim is made by website benchlife who reports this based on a reliable source. Initially the new platform was expected in the first week of August, but now it has been moved towards the end of June.
The new high-end platform is called Basin Falls and entails the X299 chipset with both Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors. These 14nm CPUs will see a new socket, LGA2066 and get 4-, 6,- 8,- and 10 core models.
