Micro-Star International (MSI), based in Taiwan, has launched the MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED, a 49-inch OLED gaming monitor designed to provide high-resolution visuals and fast response times. Released on November 8, 2024, this monitor offers DualQHD resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels, delivering a wide and detailed display suitable for both gaming and professional use.
The MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED monitor boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, ensuring smooth motion and reducing blur during fast movements. It is certified with VESA ClearMR 13000, which maintains high image clarity even with rapid on-screen actions. The monitor also supports DisplayHDR True Black 400, providing enhanced contrast with deep black levels and minimizing backlight bleeding, which is important for high dynamic range (HDR) content
Additional features of the MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED include Adaptive Sync for synchronizing the display with the graphics card, Less Blue Light Pro to reduce blue light emission and lessen eye strain, and OLED Care 2.0 to prevent burn-in on the OLED panel.
