Powered by the Intel Core i5-13500H processor with 18M Cache and a maximum boost clock of 4.70 GHz, the NPB5 is well-equipped to handle office tasks and even moderate video editing. One notable improvement in the NPB5 compared to its predecessors is the enhanced memory support. Unlike previous models that featured DDR5-4800 frequency, the new NPB5 can support up to DDR5-5200 frequency, allowing for smoother multitasking capabilities. It also offers a maximum storage capacity of 64 GB, with one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD slot and one 2.5-inch SATA HDD slot to meet users' basic storage needs.
The NPB5 is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling network aggregation to enhance network performance. It also features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity, which are now standard in the latest models. In terms of display connectivity, the NPB5 offers two HDMI (4K@60 Hz) and two USB4 (4K@60 Hz) ports, allowing users to connect up to four external displays simultaneously. This makes it an ideal choice for users who require a multi-screen setup to boost productivity.
The design of the NPB5 is also user-friendly, with a top case that can be easily opened by pressing, offering a tool-free DIY experience. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who prefer customization options when purchasing a barebone system.
With its compact size, the NPB5 can be conveniently placed on a desk, bookshelf, or any limited space, making it suitable for various environments such as home, office, or entertainment settings. Its versatility and efficiency make it an excellent choice for users seeking a reliable and compact mini PC solution.
