Intel Unleashes Core i9-13900KS 8P+16E Processor at $699

The Intel Core i9-13900KS  flagship desktop processor is now available to the public. The i9-13900KS is Intel's replacement for the previous top-tier 13th-generation Core desktop chip, the i9-13900K, which retails for $590.

It carries a suggested retail price of $699. However, Intel claims that the Core i9-13900KS is faster, with speeds of up to 6.0 GHz even before overclocking. The processor's basic clock has been bumped up from 3.0 GHz to 3.2 GHz. Those rates are valid only for Performance cores. The KS model's default TDP (Processor Base Power) is 150W, which is 25W greater than the 13900K model. The maximum allowed power of 253W has not altered. It is important to note that the PL values for both PL1 (PBP) and PL2 (MTB) can be increased to 320W under the new "Extreme Config" power mode, which the i9-13900KS supports.

Intel Core i9-13900KS

The i9-13900KS is a chip designed for extreme overclocking by people with the necessary expertise and the ability to deal with extremely high temperatures. Beginning today, the Intel Core i9-13900K processor may be purchased from a number of stores while supplies last. This desktop CPU from Intel is the most expensive Raptor Lake desktop CPU to date, with a price tag of $699. The chip may also be offered in prebuilt systems by channel and OEM partners.
