Nvidia delays manufacturing of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti due compatibility issues?

Temporary that is. In January, NVIDIA unveiled their new flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, which was scheduled to be delivered later this month... but it appears that may not be the case.

The forthcoming flagship GPU including 10752 compute units (CUDA cores), 24GB GDDR6X memory running at 21 Gbps, and a 450W TDP that is supported by a 16-pin power connector this might be delayed. Despite the fact that this model has been on NVIDIA's roadmap for several weeks, it wasn't until early January that we got a glimpse of the company's intentions for the RTX 30 enthusiast segment.

The Geforce RTX 3090 Ti currently has problems with both the BIOS and the hardware. The latter is of course quite broad, but the PCB is more likely to be affected here than the GPU. Pausing the production; Several sources confirmed that this is really the case. The BIOS and hardware, according to them, are both having problems at the same time. Because the specifics of the situation are not yet known, it is unknown whether board partners will be needed to change the boards that have already been manufactured or if they will be obliged to wait for a solution from NVIDIA.  We don't have access to the whole set of specifications for the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, but we do know that we can expect about 40 TFLOPs of single-precision computation performance from the card. Oh, and those custom RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards are designed to be powerhouses that can consume 1000W or more of electrical power, but 450W in a regular setup.
