Gigabyte released the "CMT 4034" and "CMT 4032" PCIe Add-in cards that hold up to four M2 SSDs. Quite handy if you like to use just one PCIe slot and multiple M.2. SSD storage devices.
Basically, you can place four M2 SSDs. That way you can utilize and occupy just one PCIe slot, which is tied to a PCIe 3.0 x8 lanes for one model, the other can make use of an x16 PCIe Gen 3.0 slot for full bandwidth. These are low profile cards, definitely intended to be added into a server. Both cards come with metal heat spreaders. Keep in mind, your motherboard needs be able to split PCIe ports, to split an existing 16x lane or 32x lane to 8x/8x or 16x/16x and likewise. This can only be achieved with a supported BIOS if you want to split an existing lane.
