Gigabyte releases C621-WD12-IPMI motherboard for Dual Xeon

Gigabyte announced on May 20, 2019, a C621-WD12-IPMI motherboard for IPMI-compatible workstations that can house dual-install Xeon scalable processors.



The Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) is based on a Intel C621, the socket is LGA3647 x2, and the CPUs can be a twofold of Xeon scalable processors up to TDP 205W. Based on the C621-WD12 announced in February this year , the memory slot can be expanded with DDR4 2933 x 12 (ECC RDIMM / RDIMM 3DS / LRDIMM / DRDIMM 3DS), and up to 1.5TB of large capacity memory. The expansion slots showPCI-Express 3.0 (x16) x 7, lane division is x16 / x16 / x16 / x16 4-Way or x16 / x8 / x16 / x8 / x8 / x16 / x8 / x16 7-Way Supports and supports 4-way NVIDIA SLI / AMD CrossFire X and NVIDIA Quadro series.
