EVGA releases X299 Micro ATX 2 motherboard with active VRM cooling

EVGA has released a new micro-atx motherboard based on the Intel X299 chipset. The compact board was fitted with improved power delivery, but does have active cooling.

According to EVGA, the X299 Micro ATX 2 motherboard with lga2066 socket is suitable for the fastest Core i9 CPUs. Also overclocking of processors like the Core i9-7980XE should not be a problem. EVGA uses a power supply consisting of fourteen phases and has equipped the VRMs with a heatsink with a small fan.

The X299 MICRO ATX 2 supports current storage standards, including M.2 NVMe, Intel Optane, Intel VROC and SATA 6Gb/s to give you a blazing fast access to your data, while Intel Dual-Band WIFI/BT and an Intel i219V Gigabit NIC Keeps you connected.
