ASRock Rack, the server/workstation brand of ASRock Incorporation based in Taiwan, has announced a new motherboard, AM5D4ID-2T/BCM, that supports the Ryzen 7000 series.
Introducing an advanced motherboard that utilizes the Deep Mini-ITX form factor, the ASRock Rack AM5D4ID-2T/BCM provides an extended depth compared to traditional Mini-ITX motherboards. This design allows for the incorporation of up to four DDR5 memory slots, supporting a maximum of 128GB of memory. The board is equipped with the KNOLL3 X300 chipset and an AM5 socket, compatible with CPUs offering TDP120W for air cooling and TDP170W for water cooling. Storage options on this motherboard include a single M.2 2280 slot (PCI Express 5.0) and an OCulink slot (PCI Express 4.0 x 2). In terms of network connectivity, it features dual Broadcom BCM57416 10 Gigabit LAN ports and a single management Gigabit LAN port.
The ASPEED AST2600 serves as the display and management controller, offering D-Sub and HDMI output options. The rear interface is furnished with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports.
