Asus ROG OC X299 Rampage VI Apex
Asus made the ROG OC X299 Rampage VI Apex available. The board was shown at Computex, and is now available. The X299 EATX enthusiast motherboard comes with RGB LEDs (of course), DDR4 4000MHz+, dual DIMM.2 expansion cards (up to four M.2 SSDs) and USB 3.1 Type-A/C.
In addition to air cooling the board is designed for rather cold overclocking with liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. The board has two M.2 expansion cards "DIMM.2" slots, here you can add cooling fans can and four NVMe SSDs (yes an extra DIMM slot is used for that)
Main specifications are DDR 4 - 4 133 MHz × 4 (64 GB maximum), PCI - Express 3.0 (x 16) × 4, PCI - Express 3.0 (x 4) × 1 expansion slot. The network connectvitiy includes IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, Intel gigabit LAN. Andf audio wise a high-quality audio circuit "ROG SupremeFX" based on S1220A codec.
