ASUS MX Series MX27UQ Ultra HD monitor

Some more monitor lovin' check out the all new and sexy MX27UQ from the ASUS Designo MX series. Now we have seen WHQD models, this however is a 27in Ultra panel. The screen looks terrific with a brushed metal with bezel and Icicle Gold coloration for the bottom bezel. This puppy uses a AH-IPS panel.

In fact is makes use of a 27" 3840 x 2160  AH-IPS panel from LG, and we know these are 60Hz and come with Adaptive Sync and this likely FreeSync support right out of the box.  The IPS panel has 178/178° viewing angles and it supports 10-bit colour (8-bit + FRC dithering we think), offering 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage.

At the back there are now VESA holes to be seen, but there is a K-Slot and various rear-facing inputs; SuperSpeed USB charger (only for charging – no data transmission), HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2a (with Adaptive-Sync) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

You'll spot 3W Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers also feature for a richer sound than many integrated solutions provide. Bluetooth is also supported to allow you to wirelessly stream music from mobile devices within 10m of the monitor. There are also a number of audio presets to choose from.

Price and availablility is TBA.
