Recently we have seen a GeForce RTX 3060 ULTRA photo leak from ASUS, today the 'regular' 3060 has been spotted on a render, again from ASUS.
That's right, not 3060 and 3060 ULTRA. NVIDIA might position multiple 3060 SKUs into the market, positioning itself in before the 3060 Ti, 3060 ULTRA and 3070. The ULTRA card would use the now familiar 8 nm GA104 GPU, used in the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070; but with a different shader core-configuration and likely 12 GB of GDDR6. Now the regular 3060 as shown today, likely uses a GA106 Ampere graphics processor and is expected to feature 3584 shader cores. It is expected that NVIDIA will launch with the 12GB model, and later on, silently slip in a 6 GB version. This card could launch in late January or February.
Unless NVIDIA cancels some 3060 models, the lineup seems to become mightily confusing for the end-users.
