All signs indicate some sort of Ryzen 3000 (7nm) aka Matisse release half way this year, likely we'll see new announcements on Computex. Motherboard manufacturers are already warming up their SMT lines, as ASRock apparently prepares seven AMD X570 motherboards.
Much has been said and spoken about Ryzen 3000. The initial procs will have up to eight cores and the package holds a 14nm IO chip and a 7nm CPU die, chiplets as it's called. The procs will be announced with a new Series 500 chipset for motherboards. ASRock is working on that, AMD X570 including the ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming X and ASRock X570 Taichi to serve the top segment of the market, the ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming, ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 and ASRock X570 Extreme4 the middle segment and the entry segment consists of the ASRock X570 Pro4, ASRock X570 Pro4 R2. 0, ASRock X570M Pro4 and ASRock X570M Pro4 R2.0.
