TUM APISAK discovered a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU overclocked to a remarkable 5.80 GHz across all cores.
The chip's Tjmax is 95 degrees Celsius, yet even running at 1.4 V, the CPU-Z Validation page only shows a temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius. Some unusual form of cooling, such as a chiller, is very certainly in use. Unfortunately, there was no CPU-Z Bench run included with the validation to check the system's stability. Sampson also achieves a 5.45 GHz all-core OC, which is consistent this time around, as evidenced by a multi-threaded Cinebench R23 score of 40498.
