AMD rumored to launch not one but four new consumer Ryzen CPUs this month

Another leak claims AMD will release four new Ryzen 5000-series CPUs this month, the most notable of which being the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. AMD looks to be planning to compete with Intel if the pricing ranges are accurate. The Ryzen 7 5700X, Ryzen 5 5600, and Ryzen 5 5500 are expected.

A new 6-core Ryzen 5000 SKU, the Ryzen 5 5500, is expected to arrive soon, according to MEGAsizeGPU. The 5500 does not support SMT, hence it only has 6 threads. The 5500 is predicted to be cheaper than Intel's Core i3-12100 CPU, which costs 122 USD now. The 5600 non-X would be cheaper than the i5-12400, which would cost 192 USD. For less money than the Core i5-12600KF, AMD is developing the Ryzen 7 5700X, which has 8 cores and 16 threads (MSRP of 264 USD). With fewer PCIe lanes and less L3 cache than the Ryzen 7 5700G, it would be released alongside the Cezanne-based Ryzen 7 5700G.

AMD will release 4 new CPUs this month:
R5-5500 6C6T
R5-5600 6C12T
R7-5700X 8C16T
R7-5800X3D 8C16T

5500 has the same price as 12100, 5600 will be cheaper than 12400, and 5700X will be cheaper than 12600KF.

AMD would also offer the Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96MB total L3 cache later this month.
