AMD Phenom II X6 retail processors spotted

Nono not a photo this time. But it seems that some retailers / e-tailers already have received the all new six-core AMD Phenom II X6 processors, ready for distribution. Guru3D's own FULMTL who works at a hardware store posted this:

" Just got some in and the price is frickin amazing. I forgot the model number but its 2.8Ghz, 9MB cache, 6 core Phenom for $204. No word on the release date, but Fry's has them. **model number is 1055T. And then he updates with :In short the 1055T is roughly a i7 920/930 for $200. "

What FullMTL also added was that the processor box is colored purple, meaning regular stock and thus a non Black Edition version (no unlocked multiplier). The AMD Phenom II X6 1055T was already hinted as regular 6-core processor, based on the new Thuban architecture. It adopts a 45nm process and socket AM3 packaging, while featuring six 512KB L2 cache, 6MB L3 cache, and a core frequency of 2.8GHz.
