AMD announces VMware vCenter integration

AMD rolled  out the new Radeon Pro Settings for VMware, enabling system admins to quickly set up a VDI environment, rapidly deploy virtual GPUs to existing virtual machines, and enable hundreds of professionals with just a few mouse clicks depending on the number of GPUs in the system configuration.

This integration continues AMD’s momentum in cloud graphics, following our March 23rd announcement that AMD and Citrix have collaborated to unlock MxGPU support for Citrix HDX 3D Pro. With Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.13, AMD MxGPU is fully integrated and available. Users can download Radeon Pro Software drivers with HDX support here.

Enterprises can deploy AMD MxGPU virtualized graphics on a number of server platforms from Dell, HP Enterprise, and Supermicro.
