Alan Wake remaster will incorporate the Control engine and raytracing.

Alan Wake Remastered was listed on Rakuten Taiwan last Sunday. Listings, found by Wario 64 on Twitter, appear to be gone. In fact, games industry analyst Daniel Ahmad stated on the thread that the remaster "will be unveiled next week." This remake has been seen before, on an Epic Games Store update in June.

NintendoPal, a gaming website, has some intriguing technical background information regarding Alan Wake Remastered available. According to the site's own sources, there will be no Nintendo version (although a cloud streaming version may be made available), but gamers on PCs and powerful current consoles may look forward to the following features:

Alan Wake Remastered will use the Northlight Engine by Remedy Entertainment, previously used in Control.
The game supports ray-tracing for reflections on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, but not on last-generation consoles.
Last-generation consoles will benefit from higher resolution and QoL changes but no ray-tracing.
The remaster will support 60 FPS.
