AIDA64 Beta Release Notes Mention 12 and 16-core Ryzen CPUs and RX 570/580

Release notes always are a funky thing, as without the developer perhaps realizing it, they give away information they probably shouldn't have. This time it is FinalWire that releases a new beta of AIDA64. So a couple of interesting things are listed.

First and foremost we have talked about 12-core and 16-core HEDT processors being released in the near future from AMD already. That rumor is indicating a Computext time-frame for launch.AMD hasn't mentioned or confirmed that whatsoever obviously. But if you look at the release notes from Aida, what was just added to be supported?:

• System Stability Test / new page for unified readings
• System Stability Test / warning message when TdrDelay is too short
• Improved Windows product type detection
• Improved chipset information for Intel Skylake-E/EN/EP/EX
• Preliminary SPD SMBus support for Intel Skylake-E/EN/EP/EX
• Improved chipset information caching
• CPU TDP limit detection for AMD Ryzen 5
• CPU package temperature measurement for Intel Skylake-E/EN/EP/EX
• CPU VDD and CPU VDDNB voltage, current and power measurement for AMD Ryzen
• Improved support for AMD Zen server CPUs
• Preliminary support for AMD Zen 12-core and 16-core HEDT CPUs
• GPU information for AMD Radeon RX 570 (Polaris 10)
• GPU information for AMD Radeon RX 580 (Polaris 10)
• Sensor support for Dell SMI of OptiPlex 5050
• Fixed: motherboard specific sensor info for EVGA E75x, E76x, E77x
• Fixed: CPU diode temperature measurement for AMD Ryzen (-20 Celsius offset on 1600X, 1700X, 1800X)

So yes, preliminary support for 12-core / 24 threaded and 16-core / 32 threaded AMD Ryzen processors kind of have been confirmed now. Next to that bit of information you will also notice that the change-list makes mention of the Radeon RX 570 and 580, both Polaris 10 based.
