Acer announced the launch of the Aspire 5 series, a 14-inch standard notebook PC featuring the 12th generation Intel Core processor.
The product lineup includes two models: the "A514-55-N58Y" with a Core i5-1235U CPU and 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD storage, and the "A514-55-N38U" with a Core i3-1215U CPU and 256GB NVMe M.2 SSD storage. These models are available in three color variations: Active Blue, Haze Gold, and Tiger Lily Red.
Both models feature non-glossy IPS panels with wide viewing angles and support full HD resolution. The memory capacity is 8GB DDR4-3200, and the network connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5, and gigabit wired LAN. The interface includes Thunderbolt 4 x 1, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A x 1, headset/earphone jack x 1, and 1 x HDMI.
The laptop is equipped with a 50Wh lithium-ion battery, providing approximately 7 hours of continuous usage. The dimensions of the device are 328.1mm in width, 221.2mm in depth, and 17.90mm in height, with a weight of approximately 1.49kg. It comes pre-installed with the 64-bit version of Windows 11.
