8TB Version of the Samsung 870 QVO Starts Listing In Retail

If you have read our Samsung 870 QVO review, we're not so sure you'll be buying one. However, in that article, we mentioned an 8TB version, that however was not yet listed in retail. And guess what?  it is now. 

The large capacity SSD with its 8TB storage is based on a Samsung MKX controller, the NAND flash is the 2nd generation QLC V-NAND, and the cache is equipped with LPDDR4. Transfer rate is 560MB/sec for sequential reading, 530MB/sec for writing, 98,000 IOPS for random reading, 88,000 IOPS for writing.

The capacity lineup is 4 models of 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB. The body size is 69.85 mm wide, 100 mm deep, 6.8 mm high. Endurance is 360TBW for 1TB, 720TBW for 2TB, 1,440TBW for 4TB, and 2,880TBW for 8TB. MTBF is 1.5 million hours, product warranty is 3 years.

The 8TB version currently is listed starting at 829 EUR/USD and will become available in the last week of August.
