Riotoro Prism CR1280 Full Tower RGB review

Introduction

Riotoro Prism RGB Chassis

We review the Riotoro Prism CR1280 Full Tower RGB, a product series that is designed for ease of use and decent looks as the side panel have been fitted with a see through windows. Armed with proper features and sure, a little RGB it does make this chassis little out of the ordinary.

This chassis can house mini-ITX, micro ATX, ATX and even E-ATX form factor motherboards and offer plenty of space to so your "thing". You can mount four SSDs at the backside and four HDDs as well in the slide in tray located at the motherboard side of the chassis. At the front you will spot USB 3.1 connectors as well as an RGB controller unit, as yes, this chassis can be assigned a series of colors to match your preference. The Prism comes with extensive air and water cooling options included, with support for 3x120mm fans or a 360mm radiator at the top. The Front supports 2x 120mm RGB Prism fans (included) but could hold 240mm or 280mm radiators as well. The layout of the chassis is clever and equipped with a removable (magnetic) dust filters on all important air in-takes for easy building and maintenance.

The chassis itself has been fitted with 3 fans, two 120 mm fans have RGB control as well and are tied towards the Prism 256-color RGB controller. All good and fun, but the PRISM CR1280 has an intersting dual compartiment design.

And then the looks with its, how to call it .. angular looks? Once you start working with it you'll realize you are working on a premium enclosure, and it should be with an MSRP of $139. Riotoro is coming to the EU market as well by the way. Anyway, have a peek at the chassis, and yeah... due to that lovely, yet reflective side window, photos in this review are a bit of challenge, but we're sure you'll get the idea.
