Corsair HS60 PRO Surround Headset Review

Introduction

Corsair HS60 Pro Surround Gaming Headset

Corsair is updating its popular HS Gaming Headset series. A headset that offers the basics at a comfortable level. A proper stereo headset with proper drivers and (don't freak out now) a 3.5mm headphone connector. You know, the plug port that is so close to the power button on your chassis, have a peek, yeah that's the one. The new HS60 PRO model we're testing today advances on the HS50 as it now includes a USB dongle e.g. USB soundcard. We also spot a new noise-canceling boomstick MIC that is discord certified and once you connect the headset over the USB dongle (optional) you get access towards iCUE and this EQ functionality. Corsair will offer this headset in multiple color options btw.

Corsair once again applied two quality Neodyne 50mm drivers. These surround sound (7.1 Virtualized)) headphones offer 16-bit/48 KHz playback and a frequency range of 20Hz-20,000Hz. Obviously, for best functionality, you will need to download the latest iCUE software for the full software suite which allows you to tweak audio to your audiophile preference, this headset has no RGB lighting. The headset offers surround wireless gaming headset that brings in more realistic multi-channel-like gaming audio.

For all this we end up at with a 69 EUR/USD only costing headset offering very good comfort and audio. Hey, it even comes with MIC functionality and the broad compatibility to use it on anything with a 3.5mm headphone connector.
