I can´t believe this is an actual product... I shiver just from thinking whats´next...

Yeah... BTW their software iCUE is utter crap. Can lost setting, eats some CPU power, which is not nice. I mean, big deal, 1% or less on few processes of this crapware. But it makes constant stutter. Random moment, random interval, but ur screen stops for like half or less sec, so, when u in FPS game, or in dumb WOT even, is kinda annoying. Especially when hardware allows 200FPS area. And yeah, some previous versions of iCUE could eat like 5%+ CPU power, so imagine... IF this hardware could have like 0,5Mb memory for RGB settings, then yeah, would be nice. Like Strafe mk2, has some memory, can set what I need, and uninstall software. But I have iCUE LS100, and this crap even do not turn on while software is uninstalled. And while installed-look up.

AMAZING product, I wish Razer had those ill happily buy some since im invested in Razer products. So far everyone made fun of this product and missed WHY its actually needed, even Mr. Reviewer said exactly 4 or 5 words on the subject and didn't test the most important feature. I was hoping that Guru3D will invest more time into technical side of the product and show us how it works with games and movies, if there is lag , how fast it updates, if it fast enough to work with 120hz games, if GSYNC has negative effect on its function, etc. Based on comments here no one cares about fancy lights, but if it was more about Syncing it with games/movies, im sure at least some people would appreciate it. For all the guys that asked whats it for and that its dumb: Basically its cheaper Corsairs PC alternative to Philips HUE Play Light Bars that used for Philips Ambilight system, Philips HUE bars stand behind the TV on its sides and center, or 4 bars can be 2 on each side and 2 horizontally on top and bottom of the TV. Then they have to be connected to HUE bridge and then if you want them to work with your TV, you need Philips Hue HDMI box which over 220USD or if you want PC only mode, you can sync the HUE bridge to your router and let Razer software to the screen analysis, also Philips has their own PC software, but usually people say Razers is better. Also people use Philips HUE bars as lamps or color light etc, these 2 can do the same function just cheaper and based on what I see from the images, these are taller

For a moment i though these were brooms in the thumbnail, i meant.. RGB Brooms i'm all in for that product, but RGB lighting towers, not that much.

Make your own for about $30. Made for streamers to make their audience feel inadequate.

This seems totally pointless unless it's very cheap. The Corsair Lighting Node Pro works perfectly fine with standard WS2812/WS2813 anyway, so you could make this to your desired length very very easily already, and use it in the Corsair ecosystem. However, I would highly suggest not doing that, because it's a Corsair product. Their customer support is some of the worst available, with users often facing issues like services crashing that simply never get resolved. Check the Corsair Forums and you'd find various issues that are not being resolved at all. Besides, until they start having something that can pick up information from games, this lighting has limited benefit in my opinion. Especially when there are open source solutions for doing this, then buying into Corsair seems like a bad idea.

I like RGB and this is dumb.

I personally prefer a white bias light versus the RGB ones so none of this interests me. I do like having a bias light though it really helps with perceived contrast when gaming. Might be popular with youtubers/streamers to provide a nice color backdrop to their talking head videos.... most use similar backlights now just thrown together using off the shelf lighting. I would be interested in this myself if it was a bit cheaper. Also I am surprised this was not sold under the Elgato brand since this is a division of Corsair already, and would fit in with that as streaming accessory with lights, mics, etc.

Yes I have seen it and tried it. I like white bias lights 🙂 Some people don't like the room changing color and I'm one of them as I find it distracting. I do love having a bias light though. Anyone reading this should try them even if at first its something stupid like putting a lamp behind the monitor to see what you think. Really improves contrast especially when its dark.

I have a new Ambilight clone kit to stick behind my TV/Monitor, its ARGB, so i can always custom change it to white, ill see how it does, im sure when i browse web at night it should help

You can get Chinese ZIGBEE based lights, it sync trough hub like Philips HUE [also zigbee], they come in many different styles, ARGB bulbs, strips, water resistant strips etc, rather cheap on aliexpress and im sure there are some on amazon and ebay. The thing is if you get Philips HUE Bridge [I think its 20USD] you can sync the Chinese lights to it [its all zigbee so they "talk to each other"] and then use Razer Synapse software with Philips HUE plugin to control them from your PC.

I had iCUE installed when I was using a Corsair keyboard and mouse and experienced zero stutter as a result of iCUE.
