Anybody else see MSI's error here? The Intel notes specifically say 'NEVER EXCEED 400A' yet MSI is there advertising 2 preset modes that state 500A... Intel also says 'Use the highest power delivery profile compatible with your motherboard.' So that means the Intel Default setting should also be 400A not 307A

too late for my 13900k that ran incredible for 4 months then only stock clocks for two and now crashes when I launch cinebenchr23 which is a sure sign your cpu "took a hit" :/ I'm triple rad 1m08cm of cooling temperatures were never an issue fyi but the voltages and whatever msi, asus and the others did seems to have been I knew something went wrong when it smelled "burnt" one day but I could know what it was coming from by nose I tought it was the motherboard but it might be the cpu very happy I stopped buying garbage pcie 5 "high-end" and went down to a DDR4 tomahawk instead if the motherboard is toast it's "only" 240usd equivalent for me to get the same in ddr5 never buy motherboards with pcie gen 5 M.2 they are really bad here's why if you connect a M.2_1 nvme - you lose half the bandwith of your gpu they say gen5x8 but it's a lie it's actually x8 period, which for a 4090 means 4.0x8 aka 3.0x16 "very high end" 😡 (you can test this yourself with 3dmark pcie bandwith test) - if you connect a M.2_3 nvme you lose 2 sata ports buy the motherboard with no pcie 5.0 M.2 and you get ? - full speed gpu pcie slot even with fully populated pcie slots, sata ports and nvme slots - 4 actually useable nvme 4.0 slots instead of 2 because a slot that cannot be used without losing something doesn't exist it's a scam you are sold motherboards with useless slots and ports but I guess with DDR5 people have become used to it with it's "4" dimms 🙄 https://www.msi.com/Motherboards/Products#?tag=MAG-Series&compare=TUFHLVo3OTAtVE9NQUhBV0stTUFYLVdJRkk=,TUFHLVo3OTAtVE9NQUhBV0stV0lGSQ==

Undying:

IRK. more like 220watts max on a very good air cooler. After that just go full loop.

I have my 13900K power limited to not go over 270w on my MSI MPG Z790 Carbon. Temps never go over 80c under water and clocks stay at max no matter what I do. CPU seats at 1.2v during it. If I unlock the power in the bios, the CPU will use over 350w and the temps jump into the 90c+
