Wanna try SteamVR on Playstation VR ?

Developer Trinus has succeeded to implement a solution where you can use SteamVR games thus PC games using your Playstation PSVR headset.

Trinus PSVR lets you play PC games using your Playstation PSVR headset, this is free to use software asw well. This is an early stage version, it supports SteamVR games (without VR controllers) and non-VR games (through mouse emulation) so only games with support for keyboard and mouse or Xbox and PlayStation controllers work. Also, the refresh rate is still limited to 60Hz. However a future update should change this.

The latest version of the Trinus PSVR build adds side by side (monoscopic) support for non-VR games, a PSVR Box switch off button, a fix for switched colors, the ability to check for updates, PSVR display selector and improved lens correction.

This is very good news. People will actually be able to afford pc vr for once. I did try the Vive at my mates house that had to import the thing. Awesome really, but the price is waaaay off for the masses.

Oh this could be big news for the world of VR as this makes the PSVR the cheapest by a long shot on the market.

The HTC Vive isn't worth the asking price of $600 ? how much would you say its worth buying it new to get the VR expereince.
