Turtle Beach releases Recon 200 Gen 2 Gaming Headset with Powerful Bass Boost

Turtle Beach introduces the "Recon 200 Gen 2," a multi-platform gaming headset for consoles. It is the second generation of the best-selling "Recon 200" and is compatible with a variety of game consoles and personal computers but also the PlayStation 5 / 4, Xbox One X / S, and Nintendo Switch.

Equipped with a 40mm driver that has been modified. It features a bass boost mode that lasts up to 12 hours on a rechargeable battery, allowing you to enjoy powerful, deep bass that outperforms the competition. Even if the battery is depleted, the headset can be used as a standard corded headset. Additionally, Dolby Atmos, DTS Headphone: X, 360 Reality Audio, and Windows Sonic are supported.

The basic structure consists of a flexible memory foam cushion with patented "ProSpecs glasses-friendly technology" that is compatible with eyeglass wearers, and a lightweight and durable metal headband. The ear cup is equipped with a moveable boom microphone, a volume slider for individual adjustment of the headphone microphone, and a PS/Xbox platform selector switch.

The headphones connect through a 3.5mm socket and have a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. Along with the standard black and white colors, a new color, midnight blue, will be available.

Recon 200 Gen 2 Estimated market price 59.95 euros (scheduled to be released on September 19)
