Three new games Incompatible with Alder lake Core 12th gen processors

For Alder lake processors three games have been identified as still being affected by persistent DRM bugs, thanks to efforts by Intel and Denuvo, an anti-software piracy company.

When an Alder Lake CPU had been used, Denuvo's DRM software mistook the fast and efficient cores of the processor for two different systems and deems it a cheat. Following the launch of these processors, Intel released a list of 52 games that had compatibility issues with them, with the majority of them utilizing Denuvo. Now, nearly a month later, there are only three games left on that list, indicating that there has been a significant improvement in the area of compatibility.

It included titles such as Mortal Kombat 11, Far Cry Primal, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Bravely Default 2, Assassins Creed Odyssey, and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, among others. For those who missed it, the list can be found here. It should also be noted that the titles had difficulties starting on Alder Lake processors running on both Windows 11 and Windows 10.

The games listed below are impacted by the DRM issue on the 12th Gen Intel Core Processors causing games to crash or not load in Windows 11 and/or Windows 10. If the game you are looking for is not on the list, please run the latest version of Windows Update to resolve the issue, as the most recent updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10 has resolved a majority of the DRM issues. In the meantime, the Scroll Lock workaround can be used for these games. The list will be updated as patches are released.

Since Denuvo is working to fix this one has to wonder if the community (hackers/crackers) are watching to see if this reveals a chink in the armor.

At least there's a workaround in using an app to set infinity or turn off e-cores when playing. As someone that jumped on Ryzen when it first came out you get used to having to do workarounds, software is always slow to catch up. Early adopter problems.

I'm not sure how Creed is still affected I just tested it on my new 12900K build and didn't use anything to load or any scroll lock method. It loaded the first time I tried it without any issues. This was on Windows 11 but it says both. I have yet to run into any game/games that doesn't work on the new platform, and I buy just about every game that comes out.
