The Lian Li Uni Fan SL120 has been impacted by faulty LEDs, company issues replacements.

Lian Li discloses that batches of their Uni Fan SL120 units had been recalled due to a problem with the LEDs. Despite the fact that this flaw does not pose a safety issue, it has a negative impact on quality and is distributed throughout a large batch.

Manufacturers of Uni Fan SL120 models built between December 2020 and March 2021 are likely to have sent units with faulty blue LED lighting ICs, which cause the blue component of the RGB LED to degrade over time and result in dimmer LEDs. When the RGB LED is set to white, the yellowish colour of the LED is caused by the dimmer blue component. According to the firm, units made after March 2021 will be equipped with fixes for this problem..

People who have purchased a Uni Fan SL120 may file a replacement claim, even if they are unaware of the date of creation of the device and discarded the packaging. It is possible to submit replacements using this URL.
