Why do case manufacturers keep putting USB and such on the top?

It's very inconvenient, wether the case is on your desk or below it.

Is it perhaps because they're so obsessed with RGB they oversee other things?

I do not like it. Too many wanna be compatible flags that are rarely compatible with anything.
Like that what looks like top radiator mount. But it van mount only 2 fans. And even if it could mount radiator, it would occupy same space as heatsinks on VRMs around CPU.
Solution is always simple, just F*ing put entire radiator mounting 2~3 cm closer to side panel. And place for screws can be actually wide instead of specifically placed holes matching just one type of fans or radiator.

Secondly, images are not matching.
One set of images: PSU at bottom, PCIe cards in middle, back fan above.
2nd set of images: PCIe cards at bottom, back fan in middle, PSU on top.
