Sound Blaster Z SE GetS New Software

Creative Technology announced that the sound card Sound Blaster Z SE will be compatible with the new Sound Blaster Command software.

The  PCI-Express (x1) sound card supports discrete 5.1ch surround and virtual 7.1 surround. It is a minor change model of "Sound Blaster Z" released in 2012, and supports the new software "Sound Blaster Command". As a result, SBX profiles, headphone presets, microphone equalizers, etc. prepared for various listening scenes and game genres / titles can be used. The processor is SoundCore 3D that supports S / N ratio 116dB and maximum 24bit / 192kHz, and the input / output terminals are line output x3, headphone output x1, optical digital output x1, line / microphone input x1, optical digital input x1, Intel HD front. It has a panel header x1.

The external dimensions are 136x23x126.5mm and the weight is about 208g. The supported OS is Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8/7.

Maybe i should install my normal z again and see if it supports the new software , i ripped off the card off my computer few years ago the driver was hanging at seemingly random times resulting to bsod tried clean install etc and older versions too... The problem persisted , was not a certain way to triger it too some time it was 1 hour some times 10 ....it might be faulty hardware too. Meh one last try when i am not bored and if i get a bsod off to the recycling bin :p

I think it does.

My Sound Blaster ZxR has the new Command software as well.

Odd this not new news it kind of old the software has been around for long time back in Jan and all the Sound Blaster Z model are compatible with the new Sound Blaster Command software.

I have the Z that has that breakout controller knob, I will try it out. I use the factory software and it works well enough.
