Because the homeplug makes use of the electrical wiring there is no need to pull cables, and thanks to the integrated power plug socket you can still plug in other devices

The new 500 Mbps standard is ideal for high-speed internet and demanding media applications such as streaming HD videos and online gaming. The 500 Mbps homeplugs are fully compatible with all the 200 Mbps homeplug adapters
