Security update of Windows 11 generates problems (again)
A security update for Windows 11 is creating problems for customers, this time with the number KB5015814. At the same time as it offers critical fixes, it also generates error warnings on your installation and, in rare situations, results in an indefinite boot loop.
Net Framework 3.5 in order to function, which may not be available after the upgrade. At the time, the only temporary remedy is to deactivate the technology during the installation process or to switch off apps such as Malwarebytes while the update is running.
The KB5015814 upgrade also causes problems with the Microsoft Edge browser, which may become unusable when Internet Explorer mode is active. In this instance, the only option is to utilize a Windows 11 restore point to return to a condition before the update was performed. According to Malwarebytes, "a limited percentage of users" are having trouble downloading the security patch, according to The Register website. The business said that it has begun an inquiry into the matter and is working to find a solution.
Microsoft has yet to respond to the situation, which adds to a string of recent problems with Windows 11 upgrades. Earlier this month, the corporation issued patch KB5014668 to address past system issues. Surprisingly, they also provided a succession of launch failures.

Ever since MS fired the Windows Q&A team, that users have become guinea pigs.
Microsoft really needs to change their modus operandi back to having people testing updates, before releasing them, to the public.
