Samsung will update 11 phones and 4 tablets to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean

Samsung now officially started to roll out Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300. Poland is the first market to receive Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update. The Jelly Bean update will be available to other countries and carriers really soon as well.While releasing the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300, Samsung has also released a full list of devices that will be upgraded to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Samsung update the next devices and tablets to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean…

  1. Galaxy S III
  2. Galaxy S II
  3. Galaxy S II LTE
  4. Galaxy Note
  5. Galaxy S Advance
  6. Galaxy Chat
  7. Galaxy Ace 2
  8. Galaxy Beam
  9. Galaxy Ace Plus
  10. Galaxy Mini 2
  11. Galaxy S Duos
  12. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
  13. Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
  14. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Samsung also update some unknown device called Galaxy Music.
But we think this is just the new Galaxy Player 5.8

The Jelly Bean update will have a few enchantments like:
- Better performance, thanks to Project Butter it’s even smoother and faster
- Reorganized settings menu
- 2 Homescreen modes
- New Notifications bar
- Google Now
- Resizable Pop-up play screen

We are happy to see Samsung update the most of their devices to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
But Samsung please tell me where is The Galaxy Tab 7.7 in the list?

My gf got SGS3 JB update yesterday - it's really cool.
I'm waiting for Android 4.1 for my SGS2.

I thought the Jellybean update had been released for my T-Mobile UK Galaxy S3 in the early hours of this morning but after an hour long wait it turned out to just be another update for ICS (4.0.4). You can imagine the disappointment especially as various Mobile sites were reporting that the update was out (I'm assuming they mistook this 4.0.4 update for being 4.1.1). :(

been running JB on my S2 for a whiloe now, and its by far the most refined Version of android yet, faster, MUCH better battery and all in alll just a NICE feel!!
