Rumor: Further GeForce RTX 4090 Ti specs emerge
Is NVIDIA planning a release of even faster RTX 40 graphics cards? Recently, a leak confirmed that NVIDIA is developing an 800W GPU with possibly 48GB of memory, dubbed the TITAN GPU. Further discoveries indicate that the TITAN and RTX 4090 Ti could be two separate models.
According to leaks, the RTX 4090 Ti will have an AD102 GPU with 18176 cores, 24Gbps memory modules, and a 600W TBP. The exact meaning of TBP is unclear, but it could refer to TDP, TGP, or maximum board power. However, it may simply be a higher default board power (450W+) as the maximum customizable power limit is the same as that of the RTX 4090 Ti (600W), the maximum capacity of a 16-power connection. The faster memory chips suggest that the card will have a maximum bandwidth of 1152GB/s, 144GB/s faster than any current RTX 4090 available in the market. It is also noteworthy that sources confirm the board numbers for PG136 and PG139, which are the board reference and Founders Edition numbers for NVIDIA. This means that the RTX 4090 Ti will utilize the same circuit board as the RTX 4090.
It is known that NVIDIA has been working on this card for some time, with a metal component from the new cooler design being one of the first things leaked prior to the RTX 40 debut. Despite this, there is no confirmation of a release date for the RTX 4090 Ti, but there is no apparent reason to release a new flagship Ti model at present. However, NVIDIA is expected to hold a GTC keynote in March, which could be an ideal time for a new TITAN announcement, mentions Videocardz.

I doubt the differences between the 4090 and 4090 ti will amount to much more than 10% (more likely less), given that the MASSIVE difference in core count between the 4080 and 4090 doesn't scale proportionally, and those even have a big difference in bus width, which will be the same between the 4090 and 4090 ti.

I say, it won't have 142 SMs. Maybe 136 to 140, but they will keep the fully functional chips for the much more profitable pro cards.
But still, I have my questions on wheather this will become reality in itself, or if it will pay off to get one over a 4090, even when it launches.

I might buy one just to really annoy people who were already annoyed at 4090 owners
