We're back at eight Cypress Cove cores, this we test a cheaper priced model, the Core i7 11700KF. Suffixes; K means it is unlocked, that F means better value as you can shave off a few bucks, this processor does not have its integrated graphics activated, and as such it has an MSRP of 380 USD. Will it be enough to take on the Ryzen 7 5800X battle?

Still rather have the 5800x.
Intel still with shitty SKUs.
5800x is faster and uses less power, its a no brainer.

I too would much rather get a 5800X - it is a more obvious choice.

that said I'd still recommend an Intel to a non-geek who wants something that just works, AMD is a bit too complicated for a non intermediate-advanced user, not everyone is a guru3d reader
