We test and review the flagship Z170 motherboard from Gigabyte, the Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1, an Intel Z170 based product that is loaded with kit and features. The motherboard has a new let's call it F1 design and even is quad-SLI/Crossfire capable. Combined with a few extra's and an overall high class build Gigabyte is showing a mighty fine offering. But how will it perform?

H, you're mentioning an awesome audio solution on the conclusion page. Could it be that you overlooked it in the review ? Can't seem to find it ?

Best looking MB on the market today, AWESOME!
Thanks for the review Hilbert!

Edit:Hilbert you missed the chipset bios picture and repeated the peripherals.
On the PCI lanes you wrote Z97 chipset.
I missed some more attention to the audio quality and a raid 0 test with m.2. exploring the 32 Gbps transfer.
On the IGP comparison, would be good to show memory clock speeds used because of transition to DDR4.
Thanks again for the review!

Rofl these names... this is getting out of hand.

Gotta miss the old motherboard names, just the model basically not some "gaming / titanium" ****.

Marketing at its best....
