I have the 240Gb variant of this SSD in a new Ryzen build I'm finishing up. So far, so good. I haven't noticed any suggestion of excessive heat under normal use, and I haven't decided yet if I'll apply the thin strip of included aluminum ADATA generously describes as a heatsink. (I thought NAND was happiest when a bit toasty?) As I said, good so far.
But, there's always tomorrow...

I am eyeing ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 SSD 480GB, I think it is same thing. Component serial are same down to 128MB memory chip. It comes with already pre-glued heat spreader. Nice thing on those M.2 drives is that they operate in x4 mode, therefore you are going to lose just part of performance by putting them into lower M.2 slot on Ryzen platform which is PCIe 2.0 x4.
Many drives, while delivering still nice performance are wired in PCIe 3.0 x2 mode. And once they are in lower slot they are only 1/2 as fast as this one would be.

Manufacturer is claiming PCIe 3.0 x4 support on this board, but really, all I care about is that it boots.

Great review and vaildates purchase though this is the third good review I have seen. I have this very version at 480GB running as my primary boot NVME PCIe 3 x 4 OS drive on Windows 10 and for the price at £130 it is stellar! Very fast and works like a dream.
