Republic of Gamers presents new ROG Zephyrus laptop models

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (GX650) and G14 (GA402) are now available. The gaming laptops feature the newest AMD processors, RTX graphics, liquid metal cooling, and an integrated MUX switch.

The ultra-bright dual spec display, which includes a 14-inch customized touch panel, allows users to simply switch between 4K 120Hz and FHD 240Hz (GX650), ensuring intense gaming and smooth workflow. The Zephyrus G14's tiny form and configurable LED AniMe matrix display allow for endless creativity and flexibility.

Everything at a glance with two displays
With the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, users can choose between two display variants: The world's first dual specs display enables smart switching from 4K 120Hz to FHD 240Hz. This means that users no longer have to choose between high resolution or high refresh rates. In the second variant, the Zephyrus Duo 16 has an ultra-bright mini-LED display with 165Hz and 1,100 nits of brightness with 512 local dimming zones, a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and over four million pixels. The Nebula HDR panel automatically adapts to the conditions thanks to AmLED technology. Precisely tuned dynamic dimming and boosting of the LEDs makes colors more lifelike. The screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent and the 16:10 format offer the ultimate display experience. Both models come with a 14 inch AAS Plus 2. 0 second display in UHD quality with touch function. The revolutionary second display provides an optimal overview of work processes and gaming landscapes. Together with the ROG Intelligent Cooling System, the AAS Plus 2.0 air intake ensures 30 percent more efficient airflow and thus more GPU and CPU performance. In addition, liquid metal supports efficient heat transfer, while noiseless work is possible thanks to the 0db technology. The displays are also certified by TÜV Rheinland and Pantone validated for less flickering and a lower proportion of blue light. 0 air intake for 30 percent more efficient airflow and thus more GPU and CPU performance. Equal to all requirements
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 has a robust design with powerful components, such as the latest AMD Ryzen 7-6800H / 9-6980HX processor, a 32GB DD5R memory with 4800 MHz and an up to NVIDIA GeForce 3080 Ti GPU notebook graphics card. The integrated MUX switch also ensures even better graphics performance. This setup creates optimal gaming and multitasking power, even for intensive streaming or rendering projects.

So that gamers can also benefit from the strong performance on the go, the Zephyrus Duo 16 has a 90 Wh battery that can be charged in record time: With a 100W USB C connection, 50 percent battery performance is achieved in 30 minutes. In addition, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is equipped with an IR camera with Windows Hello, as well as six speakers and Dolby Atmos support for a comprehensive sound experience. So that nothing is missing in everyday life, there are numerous connection options in the notebook: USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort, Power Delivery and G-Sync, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, SD card slot, HDMI 2.1, 2.5G Ethernet port, 3.5mm audio combo jack and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort support.

The ROG Zephyrus G14: An elegant powerhouse
The Zephyrus G14 is an agile all-rounder due to its slim design with the 14-inch display and a weight of only 1.65 kg. Thanks to AniMe Matrix Design, the G14 is a real statement and an eye-catcher. Particularly ingenious: The AniMe Matrix consists of thousands of mini LEDs that can be individually adjusted. The AMD R7-6800HS / R9-6900HS processor, the AMD Radeon RX 6700S / 6800S mobile graphics card with MUX switch and vapor chamber as well as the liquid metal cooling system ensure high performance in gaming and multitasking - even if the gaming fun lasts longer .

The G14 is available in two display variants: The WQXGA panel with a high resolution of 2560x1600px and a brightness of 500 nits takes the entire gaming experience to a new optical level with excellent image quality. The 144Hz WUXGA display offers dynamic image performance with AMD Adaptive Sync technology - for longer gaming evenings or for effective work. With an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, the display offers maximum surface area. Thanks to more than ten hours of battery life, a 100W Type-C quick charge function and its WiFi 6 connectivity, the G14 provides enough power for gaming, streaming, surfing or working. A larger touchpad provides more comfort,
