Razer has released the Kiyo X  a high-end webcam capable of 1080p / 30 frames per second.

A USB-connected webcam from the Razer brand, capable of recording films in high-resolution 1080p at 30 frames per second and high-frame rate 720p at 60 frames per second.

You can choose from a variety of image presets, toggle between autofocus and manual focus, and modify the brightness, contrast, saturation, and white balance of your photographs. Also available is the option to design a custom profile and give the finest footage possible for your environment.

Main specifications include: resolution 2.1 million pixels, angle of view 82 degrees (vertical and horizontal), video encoding MJPEG / YUY2, audio codec 16 bits / 48 samples per second, microphone polarity pattern is omnidirectional, microphone sensitivity is -38dB, and mounting method is L-shaped joint.

The interface is USB 2.0, and the external measurements are 64.5 mm in width, 80.85 mm in depth, and 85.05 mm in height. The weight is 198 g, and the cable length is 1.5 m. Razer will charge you 75 bucks for this.

Not even close. 8k 120hz, is high end. My smart phone years ago could do 4k 60 fps.
