Radeon RX 6900 XT Ultimate from PowerColor breached the 3.3 GHz OC marker

There's a bit of a competitive race for reaching the highest clock frequency on GPU overclocking, the RX 6900 XTs are suitable GPUs alright. This round a Greek overclocker achieved a clock speed of 3321 MHz.

OGS (Greek overclocker) managed to do that with a PowerColor Red Devil RX 6900 XT Ultimate. Breaching the frequency, both the GPU and the Ryzen 5950X were cooled with sub-zero liquid coolant liquid nitrogen. The speed of the processor actually also was nice, at 5.6 GHz. The combination of the both presented itself in a nice 37618 points in the 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, which is almost 18% faster than the highest score up to that point with similar hardware.

buildzoid used soft power play tables on 6900XT to unlock the power to 400W and get 6th in Fire Strike on Air Cooling.

Making soft power play tables for the 6900XT from scratch (applicable to most AMD GPUs):

I don't think his clocks were ridiculously high... but if you are interested in OC by "smallest effort possible" watch his youtube video.

what i'd like to see is a gpu shoot-out with enthusiast level WC, not LN.
a lot of folks (me! me! me!) have loops built to the full extent of a case. so let's start with 600mm worth of rads (i have 740) at 20-25c ambient room temps.

so while the 6900xt is not in my cards, i'd love to see the 6800xt/ rtx 3080/70
tested under those parameters.

You need an advanced power plant to power that. 400 watts is crazy.

Wonderful. It would be nice to see this for myself, but unfortunately they'll all go to buttcoin miners. Can't wait till the used market is absolutely saturated and glutted in a few months.
