Pre-Alpha Footage of Sui Generis

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/14/2012 11:09 AM | source: | 19 comment(s)

A while ago we already featured a video on Sui Genesis, a new open world action-RPG that features procedural movement and combat system that promises to be the next big thing in that flooded genre. Sui Generis is a new open world fantasy action-RPG being developed by Bare Mettle Entertainment that in their words is like "Grand Theft Auto meets Morrowind (Elder Scrolls III)". The title is unique in that it utilises procedural animations for it's combat system (which consist of both melee and ranged attacks). The game features an isometric (top-down) view and looks kinda like Dark Souls meets Diablo, which definitely bodes well for the title.

Someone was describing this very game earlier in work this evening, gotta say it looks promising, the top down view and the graphics look very enticing.

I hope this project succeeds, looks very promising. But there is only 15 days left and they don't even have 1/3rd of the backing they need yet.
