PowerColor has launched their  PowerColor Red Devil RX VEGA 64 and Red Devil RX VEGA 56 and opened up a new generation of the graphics cards market.

The VEGA series are for the extreme gamers looking for the highest resolutions, highest framerates in maximum video setting. The PowerColor RX VEGA graphics are designed to deliver exhilarating performance in the latest DirectX 12® and Vulkan® game titles. With a dedicated High-Bandwidth Cache, the VEGA utilizes HBM2, the latest in graphic memory technology, to provide incredible levels of power efficiency and memory performance. The Next-Gen Pixel Engine found in the Vega GPU is designed to boost shading performance more efficiently to bring the latest VR and extreme resolution games to life.

Both PowerColor Red Devil RX VEGA 64 and 56 have 8GB memory with 2048-bit HBM2 memory interface. VEGA 64 has 4096 stream processors and 945MHz memory clock. On the other hand, VEGA 56 has 3584 stream processors and 800MHz memory clock speed. Both models have BIOS Switch which has capability to switch from Ultra Overclocking to Silent Overclocking or vice versa for choosing the BIOS fitting your need, faster clocks or more balanced overclock with quiet operation. In order to achieve the best thermal solution, both Red Devil VAGE 64 and 56 equip 3 of 90 mm 2-ball bearing cooling fans.

Wow, this is one hell of a chunky card, looks more like building material than a GPU! Will be interesting to see if it can keep temperatures of the 64 in line!

I don't care which 3rd party one it is, just fucking sell them in stores for non-insane prices already. Powercolor is the brand I trust the least when it comes to AMD partners and I'd even buy this triple slot abomination which doesn't make contact with the HBM if it was reasonably available.

GN said Powercolor "fixed" the issue by slopping on more thermal paste. Great solution /s. Would it kill them to mill the heatsink block slightly less on the HBM side for the recessed chips?

I hope Ethereum crashes horribly and everyone who invested in it gets screwed. The entire cryptocurrency phenomenon is BS mostly pushed by criminal organizations for their own convenience.

Considering Ethereum seems ASIC resistant, I think we're the ones who are screwed.
