Plextor shows new M10Pe PCIe SSD Series

The new series combines advanced 96-layer 3D NAND flash and industry leading controller to deliver awesome sequential read/write speeds up to 3,200/2,500 MB/s and random read/write speeds up to 410,000/320,000 IOPS.

The new M10Pe PCIe SSD Series offers a new level of speed and performance targeted for all PC gamers and applications intensive users.

The upcoming M10Pe SSDs continues with PLEXTOR’S signature heatsink for better SSD temperature management without compromising system performance. These new SSDs are also the first to offer the latest generation of exclusive software utilities to provide increased drive endurance, better reliability and higher performance across a wide span of applications.

  1. PlexNitro II - Newest and more powerful version of performance boosting utility.  This new version offers improved algorithm and enhanced random IOPS to deliver performance up to 20% while continuing to utilize dynamic SLC buffer to boost SSD read/write performances.
  2. TrueProtect II – This latest version capitalizes on the power of AI checking mechanism to check not only data stored in the drive, but also data being read or written at same time.  This ensures enhanced data accuracy and improved overall SSD performance.
  3. Modern Standby Support – PLEXTOR’s new firmware supports latest PC standby mode called “Modern Standby” defined as a low power idle infrastructure that allows systems to be idle to conserve power yet wakes up without time consuming bootup cycle
  4. Power Loss Notification (PLN) Support - Plextor SSDs also supports the latest PLN protocol for new operating systems (OS).  PLN signals a system shut down allowing the SSD to immediately finish up current operations, and backup all data left in the buffer onto the SSD.

Utilizing the same BiCS4 96-layer 3D NAND, PLEXTOR expands its latest offerings with the M9V SATA SSDs Series, designed for first time upgrades and home or office environments. It offers tremendous performance boost from a typical hard drive, boasting up to 560/520 MB/s sequential read/write and up to 85,000/84,000 IOPS random read/write speeds. For the first time, the new M9V (M.2 only) now offers up to 1TB capacity.  Users may also take advantage PLEXTOR’s new and upgraded performance boosting utilities with the new M9V Series.

PLEXTOR’s new SSDs lineup are expected to be available in Q3 2019.
