Plextor launches M10P PCI-Express 4.0 AIC and M.2 NVMe SSD going for 7000/5000 MB/s,

Plextor announces the launch of the M10P series PCIe Gen4 solid state drives (SSD). With faster speeds, higher capacities, and excellent stability, M10P series SSDs offer avid gamers and audio-visual (AV) enthusiasts alike a high-performance device that also exudes gaming flair with its dynamic industrial design and RGB lighting.

Implementing the next generation of PCIe, Gen4, M10P series SSDs can deliver read/write speeds of up to 7000/5000 MB/s, approximately two times faster than previous generation SSDs. This amazing performance is achieved in combination with Plextor's proprietary PlexNitro II technology, which uses an SLC cache mechanism as a buffer to improve read and write speeds. PlexNitro II technology ups the ante on random read/write performance and enhances sequential read/write performance by up to fifty-percent over previous generation SSDs.

In addition to excellent core performance, the M10PY is equipped to offer incredible stability, namely through a proprietary die-cast heat sink design that features a graphene surface treatment for efficient thermal cooling during peak performance. The M10PG also offers excellent cooling capabilities with a beautifully streamlined anodized aluminium heat sink. With the addition of RGB, the M10PY's gaming DNA is even more evident. The RGB lighting is programmable for different effects and synchronizations with RGB software from many leading motherboard brands, including Asus Aura Sync, AsRock Polychrome Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0, and MSI Mystic Light Sync, among others.

M10P series SSDs are built with high quality and reliable KIOXIA BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory for robust performance. To meet the needs of high-capacity gaming and audio-visual applications, M10P SSDs come with up to 2 TB of capacity.

"Realizing breakneck performance is the aspiration of all gamers and AV enthusiasts, and stability is the fundamental need to complete intense tasks effectively and seamlessly," said Fay Ho, Senior Director at Plextor. "With next-gen PCIe Gen4, M10P series SSDs will empower gamers and AV enthusiasts with immense processing power for flawless high-resolution visuals and an unparalleled entertainment experience."

The M10PY, M10PG, and M10PGN models will be available in 2 TB, 1 TB, and 512 GB capacity options. M10P series SSDs uphold the highest quality standards through the industry's most rigorous product testing and come backed by 5-year warranties and comprehensive after-sales services.

The M10P series will be available beginning in June of 2021. The exact availability of the SSDs may vary by region.
