PlayStation 4 priced at $399
According to Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun the upcoming PlayStation 4 will likely cost $399 or $ 449 if we convert that from 40.000 yen. If we convert that to EUR with a 20% vat rate than that would boil down to roughly 325 EUR. Since Sony always rounds their prices upwards you might even be looking at 349 or even 399 EUR.
The console will likely use Gaikai's cloud technology and a new chat technology that allows you to speak with each other during gaming over the Internet.
the new console, codenamed "Orbis", will feature an AMD's A8-3850 equivalent APU and the Radeon HD 7670 graphics card. However, the source of the rumor stated that while current plans for the device make use of the chips mentioned, it's possible that changes could be made prior to the system's launch.
With so many rumors popping up we are certain that the product is expected to launch at February 20.

I paid £425 for my launch PS3 but at the time I wanted a BD player, which were very expensive at that time if you bought a standalone unit, so I justified the outlay. With no new disc format on the horizon, I would be loathe to pay that amount again for the PS4, especially as I ended up with a cutdown PS3 Slim due to hardware failure which has half the USB ports, no memory expansion slots and no PS2 compatibility either. The PS3 is the only console I've bought that not only got smaller with each revision but also lost features with each one!!! The new PS3 Super Slim has even lost the slot-loading disc mechanism now.
