Panasonic to recall 43 thousands of defective batteries for laptops

Panasonic is recalling about 43,140 notebook batteries. For security reasons, the Japanese manufacturer will offer customers free replacement batteries revoked. Were defective batteries for mobile computers from the series Let’s Note, issued during the period from April to July 2011.

I'm shocked actually. These mistakes can cost lives and it is avoidable, it's the direct result of rushing products to market. It's not the first time this has happened, Apple have been guilty of making the same appalling business decisions.

Considering I just bought one of there new home phones, I am a little concerned. I probably would not have bought it if I had read this news first. Thank you for the article write up.
