Nvidia lowers GeForce GTX 1080 Price with 100 USD
At GDC 2017 Nvidia just announced that the price of the GeForce GTX 1080 has been dropped with $ 100 (effective immediately) down to $ 499.
We are not sure if the prices take effect worldwide right away as well but it looks like it as prices for the cheapest model right now hoevers in the €639 range but thus should be €569 range. Nvidia stated nothing on prices of other series 10 GeForce cards like the GTX 1060 and 1070. Considering the 1070 is occupying that price bracket, it should drop in price as well.

I maybe should of waited a week before buying my 1070, just seen an asus dual OC 1070 for £339 on amazon uk which last week that was around £380.
Not sure if that price cut is due to this news but I expect other 1070 cards to fall in line around that while the 1080 goes for the 450-500 mark.

Sweet .. if I didn't already have a 1070, I'd have bought a 1080 at that price.

So, if $1 = £1 as rip off pricing in the UK goes, we'll be seeing all 1080's drop by £100 in the UK then will we?
