Non-K Raptor Lake CPUs Specs, Alleged Price, Release Date and Core Counts
Intel was expected to formally introduce its 13th Generation Core 'Raptor Lake' processors at CES which kicks off on January 5, but at least one European store plans to start selling the parts already on January 3, 2023, according to a listing spotted by @momomo_us.
The leaked listing reveals not only the main configurations of the new 13th Generation Core processors, but also the purported debut date of the new CPUs and their preliminary pricing (since this is an early listing, prices may be inflated). It is important to remember that this is all hearsay until proven otherwise, therefore please do so.
Mainstream SKUs will still have 24 cores, split between eight high-performance Raptor Cove cores and 16 energy-efficient Goldmont cores, just as the unlocked 13th Gen Core i9-series. The four cores in the Core i7 "Raptor Lake" processor are more efficient than the two in the Core i7 "Alder Lake" processor. The new chips will likely be among the finest CPUs for gaming due to their increased clock speeds and number of cores.
CPU | Configuration | Price in EUR | Price in USD (w/o VAT) |
Core i9-13900 | 8P + 16E | 765 | 675 |
Core i9-13900F | 8P + 16E | 730 | 644 |
Core i7-13700 | 8P + 8E | 520 | 459 |
Core i7-13700F | 8P + 8E | 485 | 428 |
Core i5-13500 | 6P + 8E | 320 | 282 |
Core i5-13400 | 6P + 4E | 306 | 270 |
Core i5-13400F | 6P + 4E | 277 | 244 |
Core i3-13100 | 4P | 189 | 167 |
Core i3-13100 | 4P | 154 | 136 |
Core i5 'Raptor Lake' and 'Alder Lake' CPUs differ primarily in that the former will have two Goldmont cores, while the latter will have four or six. With the inclusion of these extra cores, Core i5 CPUs will be able to better compete in multi-threaded applications. The Core i5-13500, with its 14 cores (6P+8E) and €320 ($282 without VAT) price tag, stands out as an especially competitive option. In contrast, the 13th generation Core i3 components will continue to include four high-performance cores and will not add any new processing engines.

New desktop components for Intel's 13th-generation Core processors, codenamed "Raptor Lake," appear to be priced somewhat steeply. However, there are a few caveats to bear in mind. To begin, it is important to know that European pricing are, on average, somewhat more than American ones. Second, in order to make a profit, stores that sell new components before their official release date usually charge a premium. 17 SKUs, ranging from 35W to 65W PBP, using CPU models with Raptor Lake B0, Alder Lake C0, and Alder Lake H0 stepping dies are expected to make up Intel's non-K 13th Generation Core processor range for mainstream and compact PCs. The European shop only offers 65W variants at the moment, which is to be expected given that Intel normally begins selling 65W SKUs before 35W chips.

The price difference with the variations of E cores in the i5 models is odd to me. Seems like each E core is worth only $3. The iGPU is worth more than that. That basically makes the 13400 pointless; I'd rather spend the extra $12 for the E-cores.
In any case, these prices are enticing enough that I might switch to Intel if AMD doesn't respond accordingly.

Indeed, the 13400 model now has 4 E cores added to it, where the 12400 only had 6 P cores, but at a cost. Seems the 13th gen doesn't offer a 6 P core model any more.
